What is Studio Minidragon?
Studio Minidragon is the online home of my collectible and wargame miniature painting service. I'm Joe "Minidragon" Wiedeman - pretty creative, eh?
My goal is to provide a high quality miniature painting service for people who appreciate beautifully painted miniatures but may not have the time or skill to create these miniature works of art for themselves. So many times we see gorgeous miniatures and impulsively add them to our collections, with no thoughts about how, or when, they might ever get painted to bring out their full potential. That's where Studio Minidragon comes in; I have the time and talent to really bring your figures to life. If you've got figures that you wish were painted to the very highest standard then this is the place to be!
In addition to providing high quality miniature painting services, I also want to make Studio Minidragon a resource for the gaming community - to that end I provide tutorials and how-to's about various aspects of painting and modifying miniatures. I also maintain a large gallery of photos where you can look for inspiration in your own painting!

1/16/2010 First update of 2010. Minidragon has had a great 2009 and I want to give a big "thank you" to all of my customers and all the other visitors to the site. I've got some more Uncharted Seas Ships, some fantasy figures (Warmachine / Hordes to be precise), a couple Battletech mech's and some new Flames of War things to show off in this update so click on the links and have a look or just peruse the galleries, the newest stuff is at the bottom of each gallery page!

8/24/2009 BIG NEWS! GenCon is over and I've finally gotten everything back in order; I grabbed a couple Honorable Mention awards in the big Privateer Press Painting competition! I'm thrilled with this result! Privateer puts up about $2000 cash in prizes so the competition is always fierce. Click on the thumbs to see me entries. (Those in the know may realize that the trolls are the ones I play Hordes with on a regular basis - I played withthem the night before entering too! Apparently my standard for gaming minis if pretty high!)
In other news, I've added a new Gallery: Uncharted Seas! Right now there is an Iron Dwarf Fleet in there but more is coming! |

| 2/25/2009 I've added a couple World of Warcraft Miniatures Game figures to the World of Warcraft gallery so have a look! - I'm offering repaints on these figures for $15-20. I've updated the Commissions page to reflect this new service. |

| 4/08/2008 Added a new Drakhun and some others to the Warmachine gallery - the Drakhun is just too awesome! I'll be getting one for myself so expect to see a second one in the gallery eventually. |
